JOU 1440L Humanities Magazine Publication (1-3)(A.A.)

 This class provides the student with an opportunity to contribute to the making of a humanities magazine, which encourages and gives voice to the artistic expression of students of State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota.  The class meets in the Spring semester.  A student can register for a 3-credit class, a 2-credit class, or a 1-credit class.  The student in the 3-credit class is responsible for the entire semester's worth of work.  This class is held on the Bradenton campus.  The 2-credit class may be used for students who have previously taken the class and want to take it again (the student is responsible for the entire semester's worth of work).  The 1-credit class can be used for students at the Venice campus who want to be a part of the class but cannot drive to Bradenton for the full 15-week semester.  These students would participate in the first half of the semester, choosing poetry, prose and art work but would not be part of the production of the magazine (class dates and times for this option are TBA).
