Continuing & Community Education

The Institute for Continuing & Community Education combines continuing and adult education. Classes include personal enrichment and professional certification. Classes target a wide range of community members.

• Newly Added Course Offerings
• Kids' Summer Spectrum  and Spring Break Camp is an enrichment program for ages 7-13.
• Personal Enrichment classes include art, music, writing, dance, foreign languages, cooking and more.
• Professional certification licensure classes and continuing education units are provided for regulated industries including insurance, real estate, child care providers, private investigator intern (class CC), security officer (class D), boating captain license, sailing, guardianship, and concealed weapons.  
• Online Classes - pre-licensure and continuing education classes for:  personal fitness training, insurance, hospitality, food & beverage, financial services, environmental health & safety, real estate, construction, health care professionals, driving & transportation, paralegal assistance, and pharmacy tech.
• "Ageless Ed-Ventures" courses are geared toward older learners.
• FlexStart list to help us offer the classes you want.
• Motorcycle Rider Instruction for beginning and experienced riders is provided at SCF Bradenton and SCF Venice.
