If payment in full is not received by the due date, all courses will be dropped from the student’s class schedule.
All Refunds Issued Through Your MCCOne Card Account
Short-term and late-starting courses have published drop-with-refund deadlines in the class schedule and in course comments in MCC web registration.
FinAid includes scholarships (MCC, MCC Foundation, private donor and Bright Futures), grants, student loans, Florida Prepaid, third party accounts (Jobs Etc., Vocational Rehabilitation, etc.) and any other financial assistance managed through the College for payment of course costs and/or books.
August 4 and thereafter - All awarded FinAid available to pay for course costs, books and authorized supplies. First day to apply for a deferment and/or short-term loans if you have a loan pending that has not been awarded and other aid is not enough to cover tuition, fees or books or you have VA Benefits. Books may be charged against awarded FinAid in the MCC Bookstores if FinAid is greater than course tuition and fees. Review your account balance on line at MY MCC and click on the My Tuition Bill link. If you have a credit balance, go directly to the MCC Bookstore on either campus to purchase books and authorized supplies.
August 18 - Deadline to pay any balances not covered by FinAid, including the Florida Prepaid and/or Bright Futures Scholarship programs.
August 29 – Final deadline to purchase books and authorized supplies using FinAid in the MCC Bookstores.
September 5 – If funds are received from the lending institution, student loan funds for returning students will be applied to student accounts.
September 17 – If funds are received from the lending institution, student loan funds for first time borrowers will be applied to student accounts.
September 19 – Financial aid grant and scholarship balances posted to MCCOne Card accounts.
Any changes to your schedule may affect the amount of your FinAid award.
