Business Administration/Marketing Associate in Science Degree [2007]

Program Goal:

This degree program prepares students for employment in the field of marketing, or to transfer to the University of South Florida's A.S. To Bachelor of Applied Science degree program. Careers include working as marketing managers in small- and medium-sized businesses, being a sales representative for a variety of businesses, working in the field of advertising, and working in management of retail establishments.

The program goals include instruction in the areas of marketing, advertising, retailing, management, and personal selling as they relate to the business world. Emphasis is on practical real-life settings with a minimum of theory. Basic communications, problem-solving and dealing effectively with people are all stressed in this programs.
