International University Course Evaluations

Manatee Community College does the evaluation of all secondary education documents. However, there are some cases (not very often) where the student may be advised to contact one of the evaluation companies listed below. When submitting the secondary education documents to MCC for evaluation, the student must provide an original or certified copy in their native language along with a certified translation into English.

Students who attended college/university outside the U.S. are not required to submit a credential evaluation. It is the student’s choice whether or not to go through the process and expense of having the documents evaluated by an accredited Credential Evaluation Company.

• If the student chooses not to submit a credential evaluation, in that case, the student should not list any college/university from outside the U.S. on the student’s Manatee Community College Application for Admissions.
• If the student does wish the college/university credits from another country to be considered for admission to Manatee Community College (although the courses may not transfer to the College even after the expense of providing official credential evaluations), the student should then list any college/university from outside the U.S. for which they are obtaining credential evaluation and must provide the original credential evaluation(s) to Manatee Community College Registrar Office for the College records. The Registrar Office can make a photocopy for the student to keep. Please Note: Only original credential evaluations will be accepted for consideration by Manatee Community College Registrar Office.

[Note: If the student desires to have an original for the student’s own use, for each evaluation made, the student will need to obtain two original credential evaluations—one original for the Manatee Community College Registrar Office; one original for the student.]
