Computer Information Administrator

This A.A.S. or A.S. program prepares students in these areas of specialization: Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis, and Network Administration and Security.

Specialization in Computer Information Technology:  Choose this specialization to become a microcomputer hardware support specialist, consultant or trainer, hardware or software salesperson, technical support specialist, Web master or Web designer.

Specialization in Computer Programming and Analysis: Choose this specialization to become an entry level programmer, programming specialist, program analyst or system analyst trainee.

Specialization in Networking Administrator and Security: Use this specialization to become a network technician, network manager, network analyst, network engineer, network administrator, security specialist, telecommunication specialist, network support technician or Cisco field-support technician.

In addition to the associate degrees, MCC offers a certificate in Computer Information Technology and advanced certificates in Computer Systems Technology(Programming) and Computer Systems Technology (Electronics).
