Engineering Technology
| A.A.S or A.S. in Building Construction Technology: This program is designed for students seeking employment in building construction or those presently employed who desire advancement in a building construction career. It prepares students for careers as an architectural designer, estimator, superintendent, project manager and contractor. |

A.A.S. or A.S. in Civil Engineering Technology: Graduates of this program will possess skills in surveying, a general knowledge of highway construction and an understanding of engineering fundamentals. There is an increasing demand for trained men and women who can help the design engineer in planning, supervising and inspecting civil engineering projects. This program prepares students for positions as engineering aides, hydrographers, civil engineer trainees, cartographic aides, map draftsmen, inspectors, instrument persons, checkers or research assistants in governmental and commercial enterprises.
A.A.S. or A.S. in Drafting Design Technology: The graduates of this program will possess an understanding of engineering fundamentals and drafting on the drawing board as well as on a CAD system. Since drafting is the universal language of the engineering world, graduates may expect to find many opportunities in various industries where electronic, architectural and mechanical drafting and design are involved, such as mechanical draftsman, electromechanical draftsman, printed-circuit draftsman, junior designer, engineering technician and engineering aide.
A.A.S. or A.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology: This program is designed to prepare students for immediate employment as electronics technicians. This program achieves optimal balance between theoretical instruction and actual hands-on experience. Instruction is based on state-of-the-art procedures, materials and equipment as used in the electronics industry. The A.S. degree prepares students to transfer to the University of Central Florida (UCF) or Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) to continue their education toward a B.S. in engineering technology.
