Note: Nursing applications can take up to 30 days to process, please plan accordingly. Continue to take the additional general academic requirements for the Nursing program. Admission priority is given to qualified program applicants who have completed all program entrance requirements (prerequisites), the most general academic requirements, and have achieved the highest cumulative and overall GPA in these classes. Testing results (NET) may also be used in the admission process. The Associate in Science Degree, Nursing is a limited enrollment program. Completion of all or part of the academic courses required for the degree does not guarantee acceptance into the program. General Academic RequirementsA grade of ‘C’ or better is required for all coursework for the Nursing program.
Students must have an overall and cumulative 2.75 GPA in the prerequisites and additional general academic requirements to remain eligible for the nursing program. Additional Transition Program Entrance Requirements

* NUR 2703C Nursing Transitions is taken in lieu of NUR 1023C Nursing Process I, NUR 1141 Pharmacology I, and NUR 1730C Nursing Process II. ** The LPN transition student is awarded an additional 14 credit hours upon successful completion of the Nursing program.
