A.A.S. Graphic Design Technology/Multimedia [2532]

Program Goal:

To prepare the student for immediate employment in the field of graphic design. Students have the option in this program of choosing an area of specialization: print or multimedia (or both). Print design prepares students for entry level positions as desktop publishers, and production artists. Multimedia trains students for employment as entry-level Web designers and interactive media developers.

Program Entrance Requirements

In addition to the admission requirements of the College, the following are requirements for admission to the Graphic Design Technology Program: 
1. Mathematics proficiency which qualifies the student for entry into MAT 1033 or higher, as demonstrated by the standard placement criteria currently in use at MCC; 
2. Successful completion of GRA 1100C with a grade of "C" or better.

+ Students may elect to earn an MCC A.S. degree if they complete a Gordon level mathematics course in place of the A.A.S. degree program's minimum math requirement.
