A.S. Electronics Engineering Technology [1726]

This program is designed to prepare students to transfer to the University of Central Florida (UCF) or Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) to continue their education toward a B.S. in engineering technology or for immediate employment as electronics technicians. This program achieves optimal balance between theoretical instruction and actual hands-on experience.  Instruction is based on state-of-the-art procedures, materials and equipment as used in the electronics industry.

Program Entrance Requirements 

To be admitted to the engineering technology degree program, a student must: 

  1. Achieved a level of mathematics proficiency which qualifies the student for entry into MAC 1105 or higher, as demonstrated by the standard placement criteria currently in use at MCC;
  2. Achieved a level of English and reading proficiency which qualifies the student for entry into ENC 1101 or higher as demonstrated by the standard placement criteria currently in use at MCC.
