What is an Internship and . . . 

An Internship is a short-term, learning experience designed to provide exposure, training and hands-on work experience within a field related to the programs offered at Manatee Community College.

In today's fast-paced business environment, it is important that new personnel are up to speed as quickly as possible.  For entry-level needs, one-time only projects or simply to assist during your busiest season, the Internship Program at Manatee Community College is the way to go!

The internship brings together three key players:  the employer, the intern, and MCC working towards an employment experience where all can benefit.   

• The employer secures inexpensive and talented personnel by providing exposure, training and hands-on work for special projects.
